EcoPlum is an Ambassador for WBENC National Conference & Business Fair on Host Committee

NEW YORK, NY, June 6, 2019—Today EcoPlum®, a sustainable promotional products and media company, announced that Gia Machlin, President & CEO, is a member of the host committee for the upcoming Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference & Business Fair (NCBF). She serves as an official ambassador and media spokesperson for the signature WBENC annual event, the largest conference of its kind for women business owners in the U.S, which will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland, June 25 – 27, 2019.

The theme of this year’s conference is Ecosystems: Connect. Grow. Thrive. It offers full immersion into a dynamic network of entrepreneurs and professionals, all dedicated to increasing opportunities for women-owned businesses.

The New York and Washington, D.C. regions of the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization (WPEO) are WBENC’s northeast regional partner organizations and serve as host councils for the WBENC National Conference & Business Fair this year.

Host Committee members represent WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) from a multitude of industries. As spokespersons in local, regional and national media outlets, the Host Committee reaches out to women business owners about the benefits of WBENC certification.

EcoPlum will also participate in the WBENC Forum Leadership meetings on Monday, June 24th, as a Table Host, leading a roundtable discussion on sustainability. Around 5,000 expected attendees will include Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs); senior executives and procurement representatives from the Fortune 500 and the U.S. Government; and select partner organizations whose missions align with WBENC’s vision of expanding women’s business opportunities in the marketplace.
